How Do We Market Your Property?

Once you have signed the Management Agreement authorizing True to act on your behalf, we market your property in the following manner:

Internet: The use of the Internet by prospective tenants to locate a suitable property to lease nationally, accounts for over 95% of properties leased.

Your property is immediately listed on the following websites with comprehensive copy and at least 5 images thereby maximizing coverage to any prospective tenant using the Internet to locate a rental property.

a) www.truepmvic.com.au
b) www.realestate.com.au
c) www.homehound.com.au
d) www.rent.com.au
e) www.rentfind.com.au
f) www.myhome.com.au

Newspaper: On some occasions, we may recommend that the property is advertised in The Age, Melbourne Weekly or one of the Leader publications. It may be that the property will generate significant enquiry from the demographic that does not use the Internet as its primary source of information. The cost of advertising will be passed on to you.

Counter-List: Your property is added to our internal Counter List that is available to prospective tenants at all properties open for inspection. We also regularly receive requests from prospective tenants seeking information on properties we have currently vacant and those becoming available in the future and they are supplied with our comprehensive Counter List.

Relocation Companies: Whilst recent economic conditions have severely reduced the number of persons being transferred interstate and overseas by their employers, there are still a number of large multi-national companies that do so. In most instances, these companies employ a relocation company to assist their employees with all facets of their move, including finding suitable rental accommodation. We maintain an excellent relationship with these companies and are provided with information on the needs of their clients as far as rental properties are concerned.

Prominent Local Employers: In many areas there are often large local employers who have a continual turnover of staff – schools, universities, hospitals, manufacturing industries, etc. We maintain a close working relationship with these employers who often refer to us their staff who are seeking rental accommodation.

Tenant Database: For various reasons, our tenants may decide to leave the property they are leasing from us to seek alternative accommodation. When we receive their notice and if they have been the type of tenant we would like to retain, we always refer them to properties we currently have available and are becoming available. Our goal is to maintain an excellent relationship with our tenants and we do this by assisting them whenever and wherever possible.
